Religious Education

The Faith Formation program of Saint Francis Xavier Parish provides continuing faith formation for children from Kindergarten through High School. This program assists, directs and help parents, the primary educators, with ongoing education in their children's formation. 

Faith Formation is a continuing process of "education of the different dimensions of faith."

Our mission is to share with all, parents and children, the knowledge of our faith and beliefs. To share an experience of formation in Christ and to rekindle in all of us a community of God's people. 

The program we use helps the growth and nourishment of faith; a continual formation in spiritual enrichment and Gospel teachings.

• A religious experience and reverence for the Scriptures.
• A presentation of the Catholic Church's teachings.
• Encouragement and help in living responses to our Catholic faith.
• Prayer as a means of coming closer to God.
• Understanding the Church's religious vocabulary.
• Looking up to those who have and those now trying to change our world for the better -the lives of the saints. 
• Stimulating the mind to learn more and live in the faith. 
• A religious education that will serve as a basis for a continual Catholic growth in today's world.
